Overview

Lead Developer - WebSphere, Informatics. Alternate Job Titles : Senior WebSphere Developer; Informatica Integration Lead; Middleware Solutions Architect; Enterprise Application Developer; Hybrid Systems Integration Engineer.

Location : New York, NY

Onsite Flexibility : Hybrid – Must be local to New York City and able to attend onsite as needed.

Contract Details :

  • Position Type : Contract
  • Contract Duration : 13 months (09 / 23 / 2025 – 10 / 19 / 2026)
  • Pay Rate : $85–$100 / hour
  • Shift / Hours : Standard business hours

Job Summary

Join a high-impact team supporting enterprise application development with a focus on WebSphere and Informatics technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust software systems that meet complex business needs, while ensuring high performance, scalability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications
  • Design and develop complex software components using WebSphere Informatica , and related technologies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in modeling, simulation, and analysis activities
  • Implement best practices for testing, deployment, and support
  • Ensure all solutions meet compliance and quality assurance standards
  • Adapt quickly to evolving project and business needs

    • Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of hands-on development experience
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end large-scale software projects
  • Expertise in Agile and iterative software development life cycles

    • Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience with enterprise-level integrations across U.S.–Canada operations
  • Background in financial services or other regulated industries

    • Required Skills

  • WebSphere Application Server
  • Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools
  • System architecture and middleware integration
  • Agile methodologies
  • SDLC documentation

    • Preferred Skills

  • CI / CD tools and automation frameworks
  • API management and web services
  • Secure coding practices

    • Additional Skills

  • Problem-solving in fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to mentor junior developers
