Regional Sales Vice President (RSVP) Cross Border
Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Regional Sales Vice President (RSVP) Cross Border to join our U.S. Group Sales, Accident & Special Markets team. This role is focused on driving profitable new business growth across both U.S. and Latin American markets, with a strong emphasis on Travel, Accident, and Occupational Accident Insurance products.
The RSVP will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans, identifying and managing cross-border opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to address market needs. Key responsibilities include sales strategy development, relationship management, and navigating regulatory environments across diverse markets.
Ideal candidates will have :
- 5+ years of experience in Travel and Accident & Health insurance
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- A proven ability to build and manage relationships across cultures and geographies
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Latin America
Essential Functions :
Drive profitable new business growth for strategic product lines across both U.S. and International Group segmentsMaximize PALIG's cross-border opportunities, with a focus on Travel, Accident, and Occupational Accident InsuranceManage specific sales opportunities through proactive communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the U.S. and LATAM regionsDevelop and execute comprehensive business plans that align with cross-border growth initiatives, including targets for new business, earned premium, and profitability (PTOI)Establish market-specific guidelines for evaluating new business opportunities, considering product availability, underwriting criteria, and administrative capabilitiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify strategic market gaps and develop actionable solutions to support cross-border business growthPartner with third-party organizations to address gaps that cannot be fulfilled internally, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives and product deliveryMonitor and execute strategic initiatives across multiple markets to ensure alignment with PALIG's organizational goalsAssess market opportunities and implement tailored solutions that align with sponsor-driven engagement strategiesKey Requirements :
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in Travel and Accident & Health insurance in the U.S. (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)Must hold an active Life, Accident & Health Insurance license in a domiciled U.S. state, or obtain one within the first 90 days of employment (license must be maintained along with continuing education requirements)Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is requiredProven sales and relationship management experienceWillingness and ability to travel regularly to Latin AmericaStrong understanding of competitive dynamics in Travel and Accident & Health markets, with a track record of driving profitable growthExperience in the LATAM Travel and Accident & Health insurance market is preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
