Position Summary
The Head of Fraud Ops will lead all activities of the Fraud Operations Department. The VP of Fraud Operations is expected to have strong leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills; be detail-oriented, and have the ability to lead and develop a team of managers, analysts, and operations specialists. This individual will lead the Fraud Operations Department through its modernization plan.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Lead a department of VP / AVPs, managers, analysts, and operations specialists
- Lead in the execution of the Fraud Operations modernization plan
- Review Operation's performance / support needs with Executive Management
- Analyze Operations for alignment with and execution of the of Company's vision
- Provide Operations with leadership support and tools to meet established goals
- Partner and collaborate with various departments such as Customer Service, Back Office, Compliance, Credit Risk, and Technology
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Mathematics, or related field10+ years of related experience in Fraud OperationsStrong knowledge of fraud, identity theft, account take-over, financial crimes and other fraud tacticsExperience with Chargeback and recovery rate processesExperience with managing partners / outsourcing and strong negotiation skillsExperience with Fraud related Regulations and navigating through the audit processExperience with automation / tools / platforms to improve effectiveness and efficiency ex. Robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, work case management solutions, APIsKnowledge of credit bureau reporting and both direct and indirect dispute resolutionSuperior communication skills and political savvy to interact with Executive ManagementExperience in managing and leading a team with multiple layers including officersStrong problem solving and analytical skillsStrong Process improvement skillsAbility to proactively identify areas of opportunity and develop solutionsHas a high sense of urgency and possesses strong time management and prioritization skillsExperience using the Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Credit One Bank, N.A. is a data-driven financial services company based in Las Vegas.
