Construction Inspector- Aviation at Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc.
Base pay range : $60,000.00 / yr - $70,000.00 / yr. Salary is based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview.

Responsibilities
- Provides construction management services on multiple or complex projects at an international airport facility.
- Provides ongoing construction inspection, quality assurance and performs specialty inspections.
- Reviews contractor's work, inspects delivered materials and verifies certifications.
- Ensures compliance with approved construction documents, specifications and contract requirements.
- Records daily observations and reports noncompliance.
- Coordinates and verifies field testing of materials.
- Review and approves pay applications.
- Reviews contractor's quality control and safety manuals and procedures.
- Performs daily safety inspections.
- Reviews construction plans and specifications.
- Reviews contractor submittals for constructability and compliance.
Education / Experience
High school diploma is required or GED with a minimum of 8 years of construction inspection experience.Alternatively, an Associate degree (two-year) in construction management, engineering, or related field, along with 6 years of experience in construction inspection.Or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, plus 4 years of relevant experience.8+ years of experience in construction inspection, construction materials testing and / or observation in the transportation field.State certifications in Materials Testing preferred, along with safety certifications.Experience with airport construction projects.Requirements
Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various conditions on a regular basis.Travel to construction sites is an essential function; a valid driver's license is required.Extended hours and overnight stays may be required.Benefits
