Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care and making a difference in the lives of your community? Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - LDRP to join our growing healthcare team.
The Registered Nurse - LDRP provides comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum mothers and their newborns in accordance with AWHONN, ACOG, STABLE, NRP , and Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) standards. This role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients in all stages of labor and postpartum, as well as newborns. The nurse works closely with interdisciplinary teams, supports breastfeeding and bonding, participates in emergency responses, and promotes maternal-newborn safety and education.

Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required).
Licensure / Certifications : Current unencumbered State of Mississippi or Compact State Registered Nurse Licensure.
Current BLS; NRP, STABLE and ACLS within 1 year of hire. Fetal monitoring certification preferred.
Experience : One (1) or more years of recent Labor and Delivery / Newborn Nursery experience preferred.
