LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Oklahoma!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma beginning Jan 12, 2026. This 240-day opportunity features day shifts from 8am to 5pm, with 6-7 days per month of in-house call coverage. The assignment will involve a broad range of women's health services and advanced obstetric and gynecological procedures.

Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist
  • Schedule : 8am-5pm, 6-7 days per month of in-house call coverage

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct wellness exams and preventive screenings
  • Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
  • Complete pap smears
  • Manage high-risk obstetrics and deliveries
  • Perform cesarean sections and hysterectomies
  • Provide care throughout the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology

    • Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Oklahoma medical license
  • Required board certification : Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Required certifications : Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system is preferred
  • Flexible on experience level
  • Assignment dates and start are flexible
