Responsibilities

ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Associate II to join our Florida Facilities team in Miami, FL. In this role, you'll work on projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.

  • Conduct testing and consulting services for the built environment, including condition assessments, specialized testing, building envelope consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and repair design, among other facilities-related services

Involvement in projects including but not limited to :

Inspections of Building Enclosures

Building Enclosure Testing

Building Enclosure Assessments

Air Leakage Testing

Construction Quality Assurance Observations

Roofing Assessments

Design Specification Review

Field Performance Testing

Building Enclosure commissioning consulting

  • Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)
  • Demonstrate responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, proposals, and project deliverables
  • Contribute to a variety of teams and enclosure-related projects, from inception to completion, in both new and existing construction
  • Collaborate and interact with senior staff members on a variety of projects
  • Schedule and oversee the work of facilities technicians
  • Mentor and support the development of other staff
  • Promote a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management
  • Qualifications

  • B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college / university preferred
  • 0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required
  • In lieu of education, equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred.

  • IIBEC certified RRO, RRC, REWO, REWC, RBEC are encouraged to apply
