Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.\nResponsibilities\n\nCoordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.\n
• Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.\n
• Meet with staff and exercises independent judgment to plan the shifts, services, and patient care.\n
• Assesse daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given and is accountable for maintaining productivity standards and justifying variances to unit manager or designee.\n
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.\n
• Facilitate availability of adequate material, resources and supplies.\n
• Set priorities appropriate to daily patient / physician dynamics.\n
• Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n\nEducation : \n
• Required professional licensure / certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.\n\nAdditional Preferences\n
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred with a minimum of 1 years behavioral health and Charge RN experience.\n
• Works as a Charge RN and in collaboration with the Nursing team to assure regulatory compliance.\n
• Must be able to handle a fast paced environment.\n
