job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHigh school diploma preferred At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or service industry Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) of the workplace Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Effective communication skills, including speaking before groups of employees or guests Complete in-room checklists for assigned rooms Report maintenance issues to the supervisor Clean guest rooms, public spaces, exteriors, and back of house daily Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities Report and address deficiencies in guest rooms or public areas Assist with projects like mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleaning Maintain positive relationships with employees and guests Communicate effectively between departments Promote guest recognition and knowledge of amenities Answer calls courteously and professionally Ensure cleanliness and safety standards Follow safety and OSHA requirements, emergency procedures Attend relevant meetings Perform additional duties as needed, based on operational demands Moderate noise level typical of hotel settings Lift / carry up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds requires two persons Remain stationary or move about for up to 8 hours, performing physical tasks
