An exciting opportunity to join the team of a progressive YMCA located in vibrant Somerset County, New Jersey. The YMCA is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. With a 150-year-old history, Greater Somerset County YMCA (GSCY) is a pillar of the community and has seven locations across three counties, which collectively serve upwards of 30,000 individuals.
General Function : Under the direction of the Associate Director of Youth Development and Outreach, the Teen Leadership Coach would act as supportive staff in our Teen programs. This person will lead and facilitate program activities and lesson plans directly with youth participants that achieve desired outcomes for the teens in our A.C.E. program.

Effect on End Result : The ACE Coach will ensure that the Princeton YMCA’s ACE Program establishes and maintains a level of excellence in areas of quality, consistency, and safety, and supports the goals and priorities of the Princeton YMCA. The ACE Coach will achieve the program goals and objectives by working to achieve healthy outcomes for participants and will provide a positive image of the YMCA within the community, in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the Princeton YMCA. Compensation : $19.00 - $20.00 / hr. | 15 hrs. / week. These hours would consist of lunch visits to Princeton middle-school or high-school once a month, meetings with Youth Development Team, events outside of school, and bimonthly ACE dinners.
