Job Description
Crescend Technologies is seeking an experienced PCB Designer with expertise in Altium Designer to join our innovative team on a six-month contract. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement with a requirement to be onsite in Glendale Heights, IL, from Day 1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PCB design, schematic capture, and collaboration within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development : Create and develop printed circuit board (PCB) designs for a variety of applications.
- Schematic Capture : Generate and maintain detailed schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.
- Design Reviews : Participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback to optimize quality and performance.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve PCB design issues during development and testing phases.
- Compliance : Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience : Proven experience in PCB design and schematic capture.Software Proficiency : Expertise in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer , OrCAD, or Eagle.Technical Skills :Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Teamwork : Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
High-Frequency PCB Design : Experience in designing PCBs for high-frequency applications.Signal Integrity & EMC / EMI : Knowledge of signal integrity principles and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) / electromagnetic interference (EMI) considerations.Manufacturing Knowledge : Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles.
