Ophthalmic Testing Technician

Busy ophthalmology / optometry practice in Helena is seeking a pleasant, energetic, patient friendly ophthalmic testing technician to assist them by performing various tests and completing all necessary electronic health record forms. EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO TRAIN.

PRIMARY DUTIES —EMPLOYER WILLING TO TRAIN

• Use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) as it pertains to special testing, including entering and finding testing orders, opening templates for testing and entering notes, verifying and modifying patient information.
• Performs Humphrey and Olleyes VRS visual fields; Optic nerve, Macula and Anterior chamber OCTs; Fundus photography, including optic nerve photos and external photography.
• Creates, edits, modifies and prints data in Zeiss, our image management software, as needed.
• Ensures correct results are published and viewable in exam rooms.
