We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time inpatient and outpatient coverage in Phoenix, Arizona at a respected Cancer Institute. The assignment runs from September 15, 2025 through January 1, 2026 and includes one week of on-call duties per month.
Practice Details
Setting : Dual-site coverage (hospital + outpatient clinic, 1.5 miles apart)
Oncology Equipment : Varian TrueBeam, CyberKnife, Elekta HDR, Eclipse
EMR : ARIA and Cerner
Team : 3 Rad Oncs, 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 Physicists, 2 Dosimetrists, 6 Therapists, schedulers + admin support
Schedule & Call
Mon Fri full-time (clinical hours)
Call : 1 week per month (nights + weekend coverage)
On-call hours : Weeknights 5 : 00p 7 : 30a; Weekends 24hr
Call volume includes inpatient coverage + urgent consults and patient triage
Clinical Responsibilities
Consultation and treatment planning (3D, IMRT, SBRT)
Linac-based supervision and OTV services
Manage inpatients receiving radiation therapy
Support outpatients / day + 4 inpatients / day (can vary 1 8)
Disease types : H&N, GI, GU, thoracic, sarcoma, thyroid, melanoma, metastatic disease
Compensation
$2,200 $2,300 / day for clinical shifts
$1,470 / day for 24hr call (1 week / month)

Requirements
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
Active AZ license or IMLC LOQ in hand
BLS + DEA
Completed residency / fellowship
Must accept 1 week / month call rotation
