Patient Services Representative- Emergency Department- Per Diem- Days / Evenings

Patient Service Representatives need to have strong organizational skills along with the ability to think on their feet when faced with new situations that arise throughout each day within a professional medical environment.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Patient intake, such as greeting and checking-in patients; verifying / updating patient demographics
• Assist patients with filling out consent forms
• Receive and process cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered
• Initiate calls, pages, and triage phone calls.
• Assists in admissions, discharges, transfers and fulfills other customer service or clerical duties
