Overview :

We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Nocturnist to join an established hospitalist team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent role focuses exclusively on inpatient care during night shifts and offers a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Job Setting :

Work in a modern hospital equipped with advanced EMR systems, 24 / 7 specialist consult availability, and a collaborative hospitalist program.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage overnight inpatient admissions and cross-coverage

Ensure continuity of care and timely clinical decision-making

Collaborate with hospital staff, nursing teams, and on-call specialists

Utilize advanced EMR and diagnostic tools for patient management

Participate in hospital quality and safety initiatives

Requirements :

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (with inpatient experience)

Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
