Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT / X-ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a critical access hospital assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in a critical access hospital with 23 staffed beds

Position is for the CT / X-ray department with occasional x-ray coverage as needed

No floating within units, but may float to sister facilities nearby

Adult patient population

Expected ratio is 1 : 1

Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required

Day shift, Tuesday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM (4x10 hour shifts)

No on-call or weekend requirements

Block scheduling is provided

Any color scrubs are permitted

Duties include performing CT scans and x-rays as assigned by the department

Must be able to work independently, including periods as the only tech on shift

Former staff must wait three months before returning as a traveler

A 50-mile radius rule applies to eligibility

Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate

Must be flexible to float to nearby affiliated facilities as needed

Minimal to no RTO is permitted; requests above six days may require approval and can delay offer

Training modules must be completed pre-start and annually

No parking fees onsite

Minimum of 1 year of CT / X-ray technologist experience required

Current license required if applicable

Relevant CT and X-ray certifications required

Proficiency with Epic EMR is required

Ability to work independently is necessary

Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Must have a vehicle for travel to affiliate facilities

Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

Compliance with vaccination and required documentation (COVID, Flu, SS card, and DL) is required
