Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for a Labor & Delivery day shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent L&D experience and a current AR or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
  • Day shifts from 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.
  • Care for laboring mothers and newborns
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
  • L&D nurses provide assessment, monitoring, and support for mothers in labor and their newborns
  • Candidates cannot have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
  • RTO (requested time off) must be less than 1 week
  • Returning employees must meet specific rehire criteria

  • Active AR or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
  • No certification may expire within 30 days of start date
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
