Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Medford, Oregon (97504) – Southern Oregon healthcare jobs Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care Hospital Unit : Emergency Services (ED) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Charting System : Epic (Epic experience preferred) Scrub Color : Any color (scrubs provided for ED) Parking : Free on-site parking Estimated Weekly Salary : $2010-$2160 ER RN Qualifications Active Oregon RN license (pending license accepted) – Oregon nursing jobs Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Experience with Epic charting system preferred Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, central line care, IV sedation, vasopressors, CPAP / BiPAP, ABG interpretation, ventilator management, isolation precautions, and triage Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed Reliable vehicle required for assignment References : 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations, including trauma, stroke, chest pain, pediatrics, behavioral health, infectious diseases, and general ED cases Perform critical procedures : phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKGs, port access, and management of critical drips Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract Float to sister facilities as needed to support unit needs Discover why Medford, Oregon is a top destination for travel nurses—enjoy a welcoming community, vibrant arts scene, and proximity to Crater Lake National Park.
