Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer will develop, guide design & efforts of new serverless solutions that seamlessly integrate the back-end processing within our Enterprise Systems. To be effective, the applicant must have an in-depth knowledge of design in modern programming languages & web technologies, backend infrastructure & databases, and AWS cloud services. This candidate will need to be strong in procedure conversion, python and SQL scripting, data pipeline build out / optimization and come from a big data engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and guide serverless data solutions that integrate with enterprise systems.
• Convert procedures and implement Python and SQL scripting to build and optimize data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Transform database code and lead migrations (e.g., Oracle to Postgres) as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates, Product Managers, SMEs, and cross-functional teams; mentor and guide team members.
• Implement data security best practices including encryption, IAM policies, and access controls.
• Participate in development lifecycle activities : CI / CD, DevOps practices, unit & integration testing, and documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
