Job Description

Inpatient Psychiatrist – Full Time (NY)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our inpatient hospital team. This is a full-time position with a focus on adult patients, offering a structured schedule and the opportunity to play a vital role in providing psychiatric care across all inpatient wards.

Schedule & Coverage

  • Serve as on-call psychiatrist covering all wards of inpatient hospital on-site during on-call hours.
  • Will be up to 40 hours a week within hours listed as potential calls, most shifts will be 16-24 hour shifts. Most need is over the weekend. Schedule will be released monthly ahead of time for planning. Further description of schedule will be explained in interview.

    • Requirements

  • ABPN Board Certification (Psychiatry)
  • Minimum 2 years post-training experience
  • Must be enrolled in NYS Medicare and Medicaid prior to credentialing
