Responsibilities As a Journeyman Plumber at Momentus Field Service, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing services for commercial properties throughout Virginia.
- Your core duties will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, showerheads, garbage disposals, urinals, and water heaters.
- You will handle minor and extensive pipe leak repairs, perform drain cleaning and clog removal using standard tools and hydro-jetting equipment, and conduct sewer camera inspections (CCTV) for diagnostics.
- Leak detection using moisture sensors, thermal imaging, or acoustic tools will be part of your investigative tasks.
- You will be expected to reroute piping, install backflow preventers, sump pumps, and ADA-compliant fixtures, as well as support the installation and maintenance of commercial water heating systems and booster pump systems.
- Additional responsibilities include trenchless pipe repair, Requirements 1. In general, plumbing work requires comprehensive training and hands-on experience, typically gained through a formal apprenticeship or comparable education and practical background 2.
