PROJECT MANAGER - CIVIL ENGINEER SUMMARY HR Consulting Solutions, a leading international executive search firm, has been retained by a fast-growing, highly respected engineering company in the Carolinas to recruit a Project Manager .

Our client is a recognized leader in civil and environmental engineering , known for its strong industry reputation and commitment to excellence.

This senior-level leadership role requires a seasoned professional with 6+ years of experience and a proven track record of civil engineering project management.                                                           PRIMARY WORK LOCATION This position offers flexibility!

Candidates who are hired will have the opportunity to select the office location they prefer to work from.

Options include Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC., Charleston, SC and Bluffton, SC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee project management for commercial, residential, and industrial developments, including industrial park design, storm drainage systems, water / wastewater systems, and roadway design.

Conduct and manage water and wastewater studies to support infrastructure development.

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project execution, including permitting with regulatory agencies, bid administration, award processes, and construction oversight.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or the ability to sit for the exam reasonably soon. 6+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering project management.

Expertise in project lifecycle management, including design, permitting, and construction.

Proven experience in civil consulting, managing projects from concept through completion.

Strong technical acumen in civil engineering design principles and project management best practices.

Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Civil 3D, Land Development software, or GIS is a plus.

Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, clients, and subcontractors.
