HR Office Administrator
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented HR Office Administrator to join our team! The HR Office Administrator is the first point of contact for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky's corporate office. This role will support, coordinate, and operate in collaboration with Human Resources staff and various other departments. Essential Duties and Tasks :
- Greets and processes on-site visitors; operates telephone switchboard, provides information to the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties with professionalism and a sense of urgency; triages calls and inquiries to the appropriate functional areas.
- Supports the administrative needs of the Human Resources department including scheduling and organizing appointments and meetings, making travel arrangements, event planning, database management and production of some monthly reports. Compiles, edits, stores, and posts and / or distributes Human Resources departmental meeting minutes and other correspondence.
- Assists other Human Resources staff as needed for scheduling, projects, and other administrative needs.
- Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures providing office machine operations support, vendor support, and coordination of collection and / or distribution of mail, messages, and courier deliveries.
- Monitors inventory and places orders for supplies and maintains reception and break-area appearance.
- Responsible for tracking work anniversaries and distributing anniversary pins to leaders for their staff.
- Serves as a back-up to the Executive Administrative Assistant as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of staff.Must be detail-oriented and well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate work efficiently.Must demonstrate versatility and the ability to relate to a variety of people, and possess a high degree of discretion.Ability to maintain confidential information.Ability to work well independently and proactively.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED, required. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.Must have previous office, reception, customer service experience; HR administration experience preferred.Five (5) years or more of administrative work experience preferred.Ability to operate general office equipment.Must have strong knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).Must have basic mathematical skills.Physical Requirements :
This job may have physical requirements that include sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is rarely requiredBenefits :
