job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide comprehensive urgent care services Perform laceration closures and incision and drainage (I&D) procedures Interpret X-rays and EKGs Manage work-related injuries and illnesses Conduct DOT physicals (certification a plus) Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries Utilize Practice Velocity EMR for patient management and record-keeping Collaborate with urgent care staff and refer to specialists when necessary Ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care Communicate effectively with patients about diagnoses and treatment plans Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine required Comfort with minor procedures such as laceration repair and I&D essential Ability to read and interpret X-rays and EKGs independently Workers' compensation experience preferred DOT certification beneficial Strong diagnostic skills and ability to manage diverse patient presentations Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends Competitive compensation Travel-related expenses covered Malpractice insurance provided Opportunity for assignment extension Travel the United States and see new places.
