Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Care Long Term Care position focused on person-centered care and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care long term care (LTC) setting

Varied shift schedule

Care for residents with diverse and possibly dementia-related needs

Collaborate with household clinical staff

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff within the household environment

Participate in planning, organizing, and directing clinical operations to ensure regulatory compliance

Support and promote person-centered and resident-directed care

Maintain professional relationships with physicians, medical professionals, and other staff

Dementia sensitivity and nurturing individualized care is essential

Requirements

Current active RN license required

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required

Experience in long term care or acute care settings preferred
