Superintendent

The Superintendent position will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination and work in conjunction with the Project Manager leading the project team. Specific responsibilities are :

• Monitor subcontractors and trades in order to meet deadlines and milestones of aggressively paced project schedules
• Must have strong background knowledge of Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Must work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other division superintendents
• Review construction drawings and shop drawings for job feasibility
• Ensure adherence to strict safety standards ensuring Subcontractors are properly trained and knowledgeable with OSHA and safety related areas
• Completion of daily and weekly Project Reports
• Responsible for daily reporting in construction management software
• Document status of project with digital photographs on a daily basis
• Must be able to properly receive purchased materials
• Prepare change orders as required
• Responsible for QA and punch list generation with Subcontractors

Education Requirements

University degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 10+ years of experience preferred. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma, with 10+ years of related experience.
