The Graphic Designer will help us with typesetting, layouts, design, and print retail POP displays. This requires creative thinking and the technical ability to ensure the display functions properly. The graphic designer role often uses motors and lights as part of traditional corrugated pieces. The work is very fast paced yet rewarding to see your work in stores across the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage projects from concept creation to finished product
- Ensure files are prepared correctly for print using industry standard production skills.
- Work with creative team to come up with product design
- Communicate with internal team along with customers for artwork revisions and approval.
- Write up jobs and follow them through the entire process from concept to print.
- Able to maintain organization with multiple projects, prioritize workflow, adhere to timelines, and meet deadlines.
- Assist others in department with creative and structural design solutions
Requirements :
Qualifications – Education, Experience, License / Certifications :
Minimum of one year of working in a similar professional environment or one year of art classes in a college environmentHigh School DiplomaKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite v6+ (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro)Printing or Prepress backgroundAbility to work independently on teams, and with internal customers with minimum supervisionHardworking, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality productsMust be prompt, courteous, professional and take pride in workMust be detail orientedAbility to work overtime and weekends when neededPerform other duties as assignedCompensation :
The base compensation range for this full-time position is $23.00- $25.00 per hour plus benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
