LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

General Statement of Duties

The Seasonal Laborer is responsible for the operation of the annual leaf collection program and

equipment and the performance of laboring functions.

Supervision Received

Receives general supervision from a Foreman and Superintendent of Roads & Utilities.

Supervision Exercised :

None

MAJOR DUTIES

1. Performs all duties associated with the annual leaf collection program

2. Reports on equipment needing repairs

3. Performs general maintenance on leaf collection equipment

4. Performs related duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to cooperate with co-workers.

Practice safety procedures.

Education :

Prefer high school graduate or equivalent

Experience : None

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS REQUIRED FOR FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES :

Ability to perform manual labor and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Skill in use and maintenance of hand and power tools.
