Responsibilities

Position Summary

An Engineering intern will manage and implement projects that enhance our window or door products and utilize Pella's continuous improvement and problem solving methodologies to improve our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities will be similar to what we expect of entry-level engineers who join Pella after graduating. Focus on developing competencies, engineering skills and how / when to apply them. Work closely with assigned manager and mentor on strategic projects and focused developmental

As a Plant Process Engineer Intern, you will :

• Modify and improve manufacturing processes to improve quality, increase reliability, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
• Develop next generation manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Specify, design, and procure equipment required to support new product initiatives.
• Implement new processes in manufacturing from concept through full production.
• Degrees preferred : Mechanical, Agricultural, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer and Industrial Technology.
