Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager | Women's Healthcare Leadership

Essential Responsibilities :

Direct and oversee daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes
Lead quality improvement processes and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and clinical excellence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Drive innovation in maternal care delivery and staff education programs

Required Qualifications :

3-5 years recent acute care Labor & Delivery leadership experience

Current Texas RN license

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

BCLS certification and completed Medication Learning Module

Strong clinical background in ACLS, PACU, ICU, L&D, and OR

NRP certification (or obtain within 6 months)

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification (or obtain within 6 months)

Exceptional leadership and communication skills
