  • Start Dates : 10 / 20 / 2025 & 11 / 3 / 2025\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,680 - $1,800\n
  • Clinical Setting : General Medicine, Medical-Surgical Unit (Resource Team)\n
  • Employment Type : Travel RN\n
  • Location : Lynchburg, VA 24501 (Virginia healthcare jobs)\n
  • Orientation : Every other Monday\n
  • Assignment Cancellation : Please note that the assignment may be cancelled up to 36 hours due to census fluctuations.\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing\n
  • Prior travel nursing experience required\n
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred\n
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred\n
  • All requested time off must be submitted with application\n
  • COVID / Flu vaccine declinations accepted with approved documentation\n
  • Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on a busy Medical-Surgical unit\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including students and new hires, in a teaching hospital environment\n
  • Float to sister campus as needed to support clinical staffing\n
  • Document patient care and progress using Cerner EMR\n
  • Promote a culture of learning, teamwork, and clinical excellence\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards\n
