• Employment Type : Travel\n\nJob Description\n\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with day shifts and every other weekend requirement.\n\nResponsibilities\n
• Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting\n
• Average of 120 births year to date, with volume increasing\n
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2\n
• Primary schedule is 3x12 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm\n
• Weekend shifts are required every other weekend\n
• No call is required for this assignment\n
• Floating to postpartum unit required as needed\n
• EMR system is Med Host\n
• Block scheduling may be discussed during the interview\n
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n
• Must be prepared to float within the hospital as needed\n
• Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule\n
• RTO (requested time off) should be discussed during the submission process\n\nRequirements\n
• Active AR or compact RN license must be in hand prior to start\n
• Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery nursing experience required\n
• BLS and PALS certifications required\n
• Two professional references required for consideration\n
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility\n
