Job Description

Title : Instructional Support Level I - Aide

Classification : Hourly (Non-exempt)

Pay Grade : 7 : $15.75-$16.85 (based on education and experience)

Reports To : Principal

Summary : Assist teaching staff by aiding students with academic learning, self-help and personal hygiene tasks by performing the following duties.

Qualifications

• Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills : Ability to effectively utilize internet searches; use common internet systems; email.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 40 pounds.
