Special Education Teacher – Kalamazoo County, MI

Position Details :

Position : Special Education Teacher (CI)

Location : Kalamazoo County, MI

Duration : September 20, 2025 – June 11, 2026

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 20 AM – 2 : 45 PM

Caseload : 15 students

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals

Deliver services through resource, inclusive, and small-group instruction

Track and report student progress toward academic and social-emotional goals

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications :

Michigan Professional Educator License with Special Education Endorsement (required)

Cognitive Impairment (CI) Endorsement (required)

Experience in resource or inclusive settings preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
