job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTeaches library instruction sessions to students both in person and online. Promotes information literacy through workshops, presentations, and course-integrated instruction. Helps position the Warren Library as a central learning hub within the university system. Collaborates with faculty to develop the collection of print and digital monographs and electronic serials. Stays current with review literature to make informed collection decisions. Participates in collection maintenance to ensure proper bibliographic control in physical and digital formats. Navigates vendor platforms for instruction, transaction logging, and title list curation. Provides library data for departmental or administrative needs, including accreditation and statistical reporting. Serves on university and library committees. Contributes to library literature and peer-reviewed publications. Student Employees Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA Accredited Program required; additional master’s degree, preferred. 1+ years of reference library experience in an academic institution.
