Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Staff Mission Management Network Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL

Responsibilities
- Interpret, allocate, tailor, write and flow down requirements to all levels of a system architecture
- Design and develop network architectures, perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis
- Trade studies, document subsystem architectures, analyze performance, and evaluate Technology Readiness Level (TRL)
- Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate network solutions
- Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers
Basic Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of related professional / military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 12 years of related professional / military experience in Engineering; OR a Ph.D. (STEM) and 9 years of related professional / military experience in EngineeringYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the companySolid understanding of IP4 network design, including IP subnetting and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRPAbility to configure and troubleshoot common network devices; Required : Cisco IOS-XESolid understanding of advanced network topics, such as GRE / IPSEC tunnels, VRF, VRRPSolid understanding of network management protocols, like SNMP, SSH, syslog, RADIUS / TACACSPreferred Qualifications
DODD 8570 certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network / security certificationsFamiliarity with AGILE processes and SCRUM tools (JIRA, Confluence)Familiar with Windows and Linux configuration and troubleshootingA professional certification specific to the networking industry like CCNA / CCNP / CCIE or equivalentExperience with authentication and data encryption methods to secure communications at either the datalink or network layerExperience with embedded systems, Unix and Linux operating systems, non-Cisco routing environments, single board computers, servers and Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutionsWorking knowledge of cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs and associated elementsFamiliar with network management applications, like Splunk, Firepower Management Center (FMC), and / or Cisco ISEExperience with HAIPE / TACLANE and other military COMSEC / CRYPTO equipment and proceduresExperience with tactical / military radio networks, like Common Data Link (CDL) and ANW2Experience performing troubleshooting with traffic capture tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump, nmap and netcatWork Location and Other Details
Salary range : $147,700.00 – $221,500.00. This range represents a general guideline; final base salary offers depend on factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and bonuses may apply.
