Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong cardiology skills, AHA BLS, CRT, ARRT, and recent EPIC experience for day shifts.
Responsibilities
Work in an interventional lab and operating room settingDay shifts, 5x8 hours, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PMCall rotation required and assigned with staff technologistsPatient population includes interventional radiology and cardiology casesUses EPIC EMR; candidates must have recent EPIC or combined EPIC / Cerner experienceMust be able to scrub proceduresDaily duties include working in both the IR lab and OR and scrubbing cases as neededCall rotation is integrated with staff schedules and must be agreed upon by candidatesCandidates must have interview availability, preferably same day or within 3 business daysRTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, and no new RTO will be approved after submissionReturn policies require at least 1 year gap for previous staff or travelersAssignment length is up to 13 weeks with a maximum 1-year extension before a required 1-year breakRequirements
AHA BLS, CRT, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy permit requiredMinimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in interventional radiology is requiredAt least 1 year total travel experience, including at least 6 months of recent continuous travel experience with no significant gapsStrong cardiology skills requiredRecent experience using EPIC or combined EPIC / Cerner within the last 6 monthsMust provide a supervisory level referenceNo local candidates living within 100 miles are eligible, and those on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered localInternational travelers must have at least 1 year of recent / current experience in the U.S.License required if applicableBenefits
