Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Platform Services Engineer (Hybrid).

Local Candidates are preferred

Contract Duration : 24 Months to start

w-2 only

Experience needed :

  • Strong Python engineering with enterprise-grade software development
  • Experience building internal platforms or self-service tooling (e.g., PaaS)
  • Backend API development (ideally using FastAPI)
  • Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or ARQ)
  • Understanding of database interaction without relying on ORMs
  • Testing as a first-class discipline – must write, maintain, and automate tests
  • Experience working with :
  • Platform teams (internal tools for devs)
  • APIs for CI / CD orchestration
  • Platform teams experience (internal tools for devs)
  • APIs for CI / CD orchestration

Required Skills :

  • Validate, cleanse and transform data with SQL
  • Create pythonic microservices to execute jobs, coordinate jobs, move data, and enrich data
  • Data Processing, Transformation and Validation
