Shift Times : 5 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM

Hours / Day : 8

Shift Notes : 40-hour guarantee

Weekend Requirements : Every other Saturday, 6 : 30 AM – 9 : 30 AM

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Travel LVN / LPN to provide medication administration as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The nurse will work in partnership with physicians and nursing supervisors, maintain dispensing equipment, manage medication inventory, and document patient treatment information. This role requires collaboration with counseling staff and a non-judgmental approach toward individuals with Substance Use Disorder.

Essential Responsibilities

Administer daily medications to patients according to program policy and medical protocols.

Utilize automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.

Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with company protocol, federal, and state regulations.

Ensure security standards for the storage and distribution of controlled substances in accordance with federal regulations.

Order, receive, and stock medication per DEA and state regulations (if granted Power of Attorney).

Perform daily patient assessments and report findings to the treatment team.

Assist the Nursing Supervisor with orientation of new nursing staff.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Submission Requirements

Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience – Required

Experience in opioid addiction or substance use disorder centers – Highly Preferred

BLS – Required
