Job Summary :

Albers Aerospace is seeking capable engineers with a bent to solve problems using software.   Alongside the other team members, this engineer will implement best practices for software projects, provide novel solutions to hard problems, rapidly develop prototypes, and reduce ideas to practice.   This engineer will also be asked to participate in bidding activities for new business.

This engineer will be part of a team building software for various initiatives at Albers using various tools and programming languages.   Some of those initiatives include :

• DSP and tracking software for a radar system written in Rust
• Control system and computer vision software for an industrial strength laser, in Microsoft .NET
• Drone autonomy software in Java
• Web-based backend for unattended ground sensors in Ruby on Rails
