Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel General job duties. Types of procedures required. Neuro Stepdown / Progressive patients. Drip titration for those experienced with it, if not, will float to Medsurg / tele units Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillator, Philips Bedside Monitors Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years of PCU or Stepdown. Previous neuro experience is required. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. ACLS, BLS, IN RN license, NIHSS required. Shift or schedule requirements. The employee would never work alone. Three weekend shifts out of a 4-week schedule. Floating to other units / departments. Floating is required, to like units when needed. PCU will float down to MedSurg when needed. If floated to MedSurg, will be kept 1 : 3. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 3-4 : 1 on Prog and 4-5 : 1 on Medsurg Dress Code : Caribbean blue scrubs Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.
