At the Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC), we believe healthcare should be a right-not a privilege. We're currently seeking a Pediatric Physician to join our team in Washington Pavilian Pediatrics Center - Indianapolis, IN.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a provider who is passionate about child and adolescent health, community engagement, and collaborative care.
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :
- Deliver direct pediatric care in a full-time, on-site capacity
- Provide medical direction and supervision to care team members
- Support staff education and training in pediatric care delivery
- Lead and participate in quality assurance, utilization review, and clinical pathway initiatives
- Participate in patient satisfaction efforts and managed care programs (including Medicaid)
- Engage in equitable after-hours call coverage, structured in collaboration with JPCHC
- Refer patients within JPCHC's network, prioritizing patient preference and clinical judgment
- Utilize JPCHC's inpatient and outpatient facilities to ensure continuity of care
Administrative Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standardsSupervise clinical care provided by non-physician staffProvide input on operational decisions, recruitment, and onboarding of new providersParticipate in medical staff activities, quality monitoring, and improvement programsSupport fiscally efficient operations and resource utilizationContribute to collaborative practice initiatives and task forces focused on improving pediatric outcomesCommunity Engagement :
Participate in community-based services and outreach efforts across IndianaRepresent JPCHC in initiatives that promote child health and wellnessRequired Qualifications
MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in PediatricsActive Indiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain)Commitment to serving underserved pediatric populationsStrong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skillsExperience in FQHC or community health settings preferredBenefits :
