Job Summary :

The Machinist I will be responsible for tasks operating mills and lathes, both manual and CNC, as well as other common shop equipment, interpreting basic drawings and apply basic math machining applications. The primary duties are given below, but other duties may be assigned as circumstances dictate.

Qualifications :

ASG team members must have a good work ethic, be teachable, and be a good team player. Having a solutions-oriented mindset with a positive attitude, a strong desire to learn and improve, and a willingness to ask questions and seek help when needed is important. Additional requirements for this position :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years technical school or college in a relevant discipline or a minimum of 2 years work experience operating CNC and manual mills / lathes in a relevant work environment
• Ability to read and interpret 3D technical drawings, in print and in CAD / CAM software
• Generally functional in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and working with files on Microsoft Windows operating systems and network drives / file servers
• Must be willing to work overtime, if necessary
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to listen to, speak, read, write and understand English
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
