About the Role :
We’re seeking a Manual QA Engineer to take a lead role in testing and validating complex, multi-component systems. This position will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining manual test plans across desktop, mobile, embedded, and server-based applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manual testing, with proven experience supporting high-quality software delivery in distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify software requirements.
- Perform manual testing for desktop, mobile, embedded, and web-based applications.
- Document and communicate test results and defects in detail.
- Verify, replicate, and document issues reported by customers.
- Maintain and update a known issues log for each software release.
- Review and oversee test cases created by other QA team members.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing of server and API components.
- Execute security verification tests and document results.
- Identify and isolate defects across distributed network systems involving server, mobile, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot system setup issues and configure testing environments.
- Provide data-driven insights and maintain metrics on software quality trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in software testing across diverse environments.Strong experience in mobile application testingExperience with server load, performance, and latency testing.
Strong understanding of regression, performance, and security testing methodologies.Proficiency with Robot Framework and Selenium; experience with Python preferred.Experience with Windows and database testing.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical writing skills.Solid understanding of SDLC processes, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
