Now Hiring - Traveling Landscape Technician

Job-site : Based in Urbandale, IA

Schedule : Travel Monday-Friday throughout Iowa, back in Des Moines on Friday - Home every weekend

Pay : $20 - $22 / hour

Job Overview : Currently hiring for a Traveling Landscape Technician to support stormwater inspections and maintenance across commercial properties in Iowa and surrounding states. If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work, light construction, and traveling to new sites (Per diem provided), this role offers consistent year-round hours, growth potential to become a lead technician, and a mission-driven team.

Job Details

  • Visit 25-30 commercial sites monthly to inspect and maintain stormwater infrastructure
  • Monitor construction near ponds, drainage areas, and water features
  • Perform mowing, trimming, debris removal, and light repairs
  • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment
  • Travel regionally using a company truck (lodging and per diem provided)

Requirements

  • 12 years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • Familiarity with landscaping tools and stormwater systems
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting, and working on uneven terrain
  • Willingness to travel 1012 nights per month (MonFri, back home in Des Moines on the weekends)
  • Must pass back ground check and drug screening

  • $59 daily per diem + lodging for travel days
  • 4050 hours / week with overtime potential

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00 / hr.
