Responsibilities :

  • Own the Accounts Receivable function for a large real estate portfolio, ensuring all tenant payments are accurately applied to the correct ledgers and charges.
  • Monitor tenant accounts, proactively reach out to resolve payment issues, and establish payment plans when necessary while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Communicate directly with tenants regarding billing questions, payment status, and account balances; represent Friedman Properties in a professional, client-facing manner.
  • Track and reconcile complex charges unique to the real estate portfolio (e.g., outdoor dining expansions, tenant bill-backs, and property-specific charges).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of AR issues and seamless communication.
  • Identify trends in tenant payments and provide updates to leadership on risks, delinquencies, and collection strategies.
  • Take ownership of the role by maintaining accuracy, improving processes, and ensuring timely application of receipts and account reconciliation.

    • Qualifications :

  • Strong Accounts Receivable background with direct experience in real estate.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume tenant ledgers with complex charge structures.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Motivated, dependable, and proactive in identifying and resolving AR issues.
