Overview

Minutemen Staffing is looking for a Barrier Extruder Operator in Hebron, Ohio. This is a permanent position with 12-hour shifts. Pay rate from $17-$19 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous and effective operation of the lines and equipment
• Safely and reliably operate the production lines
• Test film quality per testing methods
• Actively participate in line changeover duties
• Effectively troubleshoot and solve a range of problems including mechanical, electrical, and computer-based issues
• Ability to cross train and operate polystyrene, blown film, and converting equipment
• Be a committed participant in the safety culture by : attending all training, intervening as necessary with coworkers, communicating unsafe conditions and being part of their resolution, assisting with incident investigations and follow-up, and following safety programs (lockout / tagout, confined space, hot work, Safe Work Permitting, etc.)
• Assist in the upkeep of a clean and organized workplace
