Art Teacher / Art Education Assistant Director - Full Time

What You'll Do

• Teach Art and / or Digital Design Classes : Teach weekly art and / or digital art classes and summer camps for a variety of ages and media
• Ensure Student Success : Ensure student success in the studio and lab by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth
• Provide Hospitality Service & Communication : Conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families, support makeup scheduling, discuss student progress and opportunities for growth, upsells to additional classes / camps.
• Implement One River Methodology Curriculum : Ensure teachers have lesson plans / resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularly
• Run a best-in-class studio : Order and Re-stock art supplies, Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and oversee digital lab maintenance
• Student Exhibitions : Collect, Curate and Install school & community exhibitions; plan and prompt the opening receptions for Student Shows and support parties and special events.
