Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Specialist - Leeding Builders Group
Leeding Builders Group, division of AECOM, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Pre-Qualification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and pre-qualifying contractors and subcontractors for construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the contractor pre-qualification database, analyzing contractor submissions, conducting thorough risk assessments, collaborating with project managers, developing pre-qualification criteria and processes, preparing detailed reports, staying current with industry standards, assisting in the development of pre-qualification policies and procedures, providing support and guidance to contractors, and coordinating with legal and insurance departments.

Minimum Qualifications : BA / BS Finance or related curriculum or AA / AS + 2 years of relevant experience in construction finance / risk or HSD / GED + 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications : 3-5 years of experience in construction pre-qualification or related field. Proficiency in pre-qualification software and databases (TradeTapp). Strong analytical and research skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with contractor evaluation and risk assessment. Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations. Understanding of contractor qualification processes. Familiarity with construction project management. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
