job_description.job_card.job_descriptionConduct armed and / or unarmed foot and / or vehicle patrol (interior and / or exterior) Control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems Compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct Work at various assignments and may be called to irregular shifts with little to no advance notice Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure authorized removal of property Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management Recommend physical security surveys and post orders High school diploma or equivalent Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or related field Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy or verified work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice 8+ years of service in any military branch Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Be at least 18 years old (21 for armed positions where required by state law) Licensing requirements may apply per state / local laws Valid driver’s license for driving positions Ability to operate radio / phone equipment and console monitors Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving, active listening, situational assessment, and data interpretation Teamwork and attention to detail Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions Schedules that fit with personal life goals Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities Employee discounts through our perks program
